My Approach

Mind Body Spirit

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means I have a Mind/Body/Spirit approach. I look at how all areas of life are connected. My approach is multi-dimensional. It is not to create lists of restrictions of good and bad foods. It is not to impose popular trending practices. Instead, I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy and authentic life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding. Together, we’ll work to reach your personal & health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, reducing food cravings, increasing sleep, maximizing energy, creating mindfulness practices and sustaining  transformative lifestyle changes. During this time, you will develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you. You will begin to implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.

Nutritional Style

One Nutritional Style does not work for everyone. Most approaches to complete nourishment dwell solely on food; calories, carbs, fats & proteins. Instead of creating lists of restrictions, or focusing on 'good' and 'bad' foods, I coach my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and free of denial and harsh discipline. I implement my signature style, the Intuitive Coaching Method, to guide you to find the food, movement, spirituality and lifestyle choices that best support you. I also help you to make gradual life-long changes that enable you to reach your current and future wellness goals.

My Training

I am a Board certified Holistic Health Counselor through the AADP. I am also a member of the International Association for Health Coaches (IAHC). I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, specializing in Mindfulness Practices;  I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching/counseling methods. As an IIN graduate, I also carry the title of Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. This title sets me apart, highlighting the quality of my training that differentiates me from other health coaches/counselors. I am both proud and humbled to have completed the required training to participate as a certified Hospice Volunteer.  Additional certification in Spiritual Counseling, IACET accredited.
